The following text is about the life of one of the best athletes for me, attending to the 2012 Olympic Games in London- 2012. In this opportunity is this city in charged to welcome the most outstanding athletes of the world.

Here, I want to focus in one participant in particular. Her name is Caterine Ibargüen .She was born on February 12, 1984 (age 19).She is from Apartadó, Antioquia. Her parents are Francisca y William and she comes from a humble family. She studied in the Colegio San Francisco de Asís.

Being said that; let's take a look about her sport life.
During his career, in the form of high jump, she participated in the World Championships in 2005 and 2009 editions, with marks of 1.84 m and 1.85 m, respectively, as well as the Olympic Games Athens 2004 where she did record of 1.85 m, all in qualifying.
At this point in his career, Ibargüen focused on the triple jump, under the direction of Cuban coach Ubaldo Duany.  She also attended a second time at the Olympic Games what were held in London, and on August 5, won the silver medal with a record of 14,80 m, the first for Colombia in the history of Olympic track and field, since the only antecedent was the bronze medal in Barcelona 1992 by Ximena Restrepo.
