The following text is about the life of one of the best athletes for me, attending to the 2012 Olympics games in London- 2012. In this opportunity is this city in charged to welcome the most outstanding athletes of the world.

Here, I want to focus in one participant in particular, His name is David Rudisha, He was born on December 17, 1988. He is from Kenya. His parents are Daniel Rudisha and Tamisha and He comes from a humble family. He studied in St. Patrick's, Kimuron Secondary School in Iten, Keiyo District.

Being said that, Let’s take a look about his sport life

He started to run in 2004 in local competitions. He decided to run in 800m flat in 2005. He is Olympic medalist in Mexico too. He became the world Junior Champion over that distance. In 2009 Rudisha competed in World Athletics Championships. In 2008 He suffered one injury and He couldn’t participate in Pekin. He follows at his father’s steps.

Among his biggest achievements, is it important to mention that he has won

In 2006 He won a gold medal in World Junior Championships, In September 2009 Rudisha won the IAAF Grand Prix in Italy, posting a new African record of 1:42.01, beating the compatriot Sammy Koskei. That effort put him in fourth place on the all-time list. In November 2010, at the age of 21, he became the youngest ever athlete to win the IAAF World Athlete of the Year award, in august He got world record twice in the one week with 1:41.09. In 2011 He got first in the World Championships with 1:43.91.

To conclude this written, It is necessary for me to say that David Rudisha Is an athlete who has proved that no mater conditions, it is possible success in life, so, He is for me, a very important and interesting role model, I hope he win the gold in London.
